Raccoon activity near rooflines, chimneys, soffits, and attic openings should be inspected before sealing any entry point.

Raccoon Problems Near Freehold

Raccoons are strong, persistent animals that can use loose soffits, roofline gaps, damaged vents, chimneys, fascia openings, sheds, decks, crawl spaces, and attic access points for shelter. Around Freehold and Monmouth County, raccoon calls often involve night noise, heavy walking above the ceiling, damaged exterior trim, droppings, odor, or a female raccoon using a protected area for young.

The safest approach is to identify the active animal, understand the entry point, and avoid sealing openings too early. If babies are present or the raccoon is still inside, a rushed repair can create a bigger odor, noise, or damage problem.

Frank was magnificent! I had some beautiful birds that were trying to make a home in my bathroom vent in Central NJ. I called and spoke to Frank after finding him online. He gave me a fair estimate over the phone AND gave me a same day appt. He was knowledgeable and professional. Hopefully I never need his services again, but if I do, he will be the first person I call! Thanks!

Raccoon Removal Near Freehold FAQ

How do I know if a raccoon is in my attic?

Raccoons are heavier than mice or squirrels. You may hear slower walking, thumping, scratching, or movement at night. Other signs include damaged soffits, roofline gaps, droppings, odor, or disturbed insulation.

Can I seal the hole after I hear raccoons?

Do not seal an opening until the animal situation is understood. If a raccoon or babies are still inside, sealing the entry point can create odor, noise, damage, and a more complicated removal problem.

Does raccoon removal include repairing the entry point?

When conditions are right, exclusion work may include sealing gaps, screening vents, repairing soffits or fascia, securing roofline access, and recommending cleanup if nesting material, droppings, or damaged insulation are present.

How much does raccoon removal cost near Freehold?

Pricing depends on access, height, number of entry points, babies, attic contamination, chimney or soffit damage, and the amount of exclusion work needed. A service call or inspection is used to determine the right scope.
